Patio Planters sponsors a number of fun social events and projects each year, as well as monthly meetings, and is an excellent and most enjoyable way for a French Quarter resident to get to know his or her neighbors.

Residents of the Vieux Carre who own or have the use of a patio or balcony, and non-resident owners of property in the Vieux Carre may apply for membership in Patio Planters.

Potential members complete a simple application form , including recommendations by two current Patio Planters members, and send it with their dues to Patio Planters, 1000 Bourbon Street #270, New Orleans, LA 70116, or they may give the application to any member. Membership applications are considered and approved by the organization's board at its monthly meeting. Dues are $35 per individual or $60 per household.
